As there is so much detail in I'm going to talk about these windows in a series, however I don't think I could ever describe it as well as the article in Retail Design World, who featured us as VM Choice! Read the full article here.
The Halloween window was the best window I've worked on. Everyone was in a good mood, it went relatively smoothly and ended up looking absolutely stunning. The spider web in the main 27 window is so delicate, I think it made a potentially "tacky" holiday look very elegant.
The fashion worked really well for this window as well. Normally we leave the mannequins bald, but the black wig and cat ears added a really fun element, as well as the clashing brights.
On a personal level I hate it when Halloween decorations have realistic spiders, but these paper cut beauties didn't intimidate me at all!
The centre of the spider web, of course, included a B. I love how Browns always personalise the windows in some way, by incorporating Browns and Bs into the set design in a cheeky, unique way. It reminds me of the hidden mickeys at Disneyland, like an inside joke with the customer.
